At Shimano, we’re looking for an HRIS (Workday) Digital Expert to help manage and continuously improve our HR system. In this role, you’ll ensure high-quality HR data, streamline key processes. If you’re excited by the intersection of HR and digital technology, we’d love to hear from you.

The Challenge

  • Owned and managed core HRIS system functions, including process configurations and organizational architecture (cost centers, supervisory structures, and related hierarchies), ensuring accurate and uptodate system setup across the business. 

  • Generated recurring and ad hoc HR reports to support leadership decision-making, compliance audits, and workforce planning. 

  • Maintained, updated, and troubleshot HRIS systems, improving data accuracy, integrity, and security through regular audits and issue resolution. 

  • Supported system releases, enhancements, and testing cycles, ensuring smooth deployment and successful integration with payroll, finance, and other business systems. 

  • Provided technical support and delivered training to HR staff and employees, increasing system adoption and reducing support requests. 

  • Ensured HR data compliance with legal requirements, internal policies, and security standards through consistent monitoring and documentation. 

  • Lead and supported HRIS projects, including process improvements, automation initiatives, and system integrations to enhance HR operational efficiency. 

What are we looking for?

  • Someone with bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 

  • 2 years+ experience in functional system ownership, Workday is preferred.  

  • Knowledge of HRIS systems, particularly Workday, HR processes (benefits, recruitment, payroll, workforce management), is preferred  

  • Knowledge of data analysis tools and ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. 

  • Analytical & problem-solving skills.   

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to train staff and collaborate with multiple departments.  

  • Proactive and eye for detail. 

  • Quick learner and can work independently.  

  • Certifications (Optional but Beneficial): HRIS (Workday) certifications.
