As HRIS Delivery Manager, you’ll lead the operational heartbeat of our global Workday platform, ensuring seamless service delivery and driving continuous improvement across all HR operational processes. This role leads the HRIS Delivery team to deliver smooth service delivery, unlock efficiencies, and enable data-driven decisions that matter. Partnering closely with HR leaders and stakeholders, you’ll help us turn technology into a true business enabler.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to expand their Workday career and lead HRIS operations across all live modules and countries. This includes managing the global Workday Support ticket queue, working with HRIS Specialists to provide effective user support and identifying actionable insights that translate into continuous improvement and process enhancements. You will also have the opportunity to partner with the HR Solutions team to design, configure and deploy system-driven projects and phase X initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Service Delivery & Operations
Lead, develop and mentor the HRIS Delivery team (internal and external resources) to ensure timely and accurate resolution of HRIS tickets (Tier 1 - 3).
Manage ticket management processes, including prioritization, escalation, and resolution tracking.
Monitor and report on support service level metrics and ticket insights to ensure service targets are achieved and insights drive process improvements
Ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery across HRIS operations.
Partner with external AMS consultants to ensure effective management and utilization of hours.
Actively translate ticket reporting into continuous improvements, driving system & process enhancements.
Workday Configuration & Enhancement
Partner with HR Solutions team to design, develop, configure, and implement Workday enhancements based on evolving business needs and stakeholder requirements.
Assist in the deployment of new features and modules across Workday.
Define test criteria and scripts and perform thorough testing of system modifications to ensure quality assurance.
Research and resolve system issues, recommending improvements where applicable.
Drive Workday adoption initiatives to promote user self-service as well as come up with new ideas to keep user adoption relevant and effective.
Reporting & Data Integrity
Develop and maintain Workday reports to support HR analytics and operational needs.
Run audit reports, investigate data errors, identify recurring trends, and take corrective actions to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Collaborate with Talent Analytics team on Workday reporting and data quality efforts.
Integrations & Technical Execution
Support integration development between Workday and external systems, including payroll vendors.
Monitor and troubleshoot interface issues between HRIS and other internal/external systems.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure organizational hierarchy and structure are accurately reflected in Workday and aligned with downstream systems.
Support HRIS team in managing compliance with internal SOX controls, GDPR and other data privacy controls.
Project Support
Lead small to mid-size HR technology projects, including planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination.
Partner with HR Solutions team to support design, configure and deployment of system projects, including phase X initiatives.
Support system release-based testing and contribute to the HRIS & Solutions strategy and workplan.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years of experience with Workday HCM configuration and support.
Proven hands-on Workday experience with Report Writer, Security Administration, and Business Process Configuration.
Strong understanding of HR technology and global HR processes.
Excellent communication, writing, and facilitation skills.
Strong analytical skills, including issue triage and resolution.
Experience managing system testing and validation protocols.
Familiarity with ticketing systems and service delivery metrics.
DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Played a lead role in at least one full lifecycle Workday HCM implementation.
Some experience with Performance & Talent Management, Advanced Compensation, Learning, Recruiting, Time & Attendance, Journeys and Peakon modules.
Experience with Workday global payroll integrations.
Exposure to project management methodologies and tools.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOX and GDPR.
Experience providing operational insights and reporting to senior leadership.
Proven service delivery mindset, ensuring user support is efficient, effective and collaborative.
Experience leading HRIS delivery teams or external support resources.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in MIS, IT, HR, Engineering, or related field.
LOCATION & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This is a remote position available for US based candidates.
Ideally, the successful candidate is near Houston, TX office or based in US Central or US Eastern time zones.
Occasional Travel may be required.
PAY TRANSPARENCY
A reasonable estimate of the annual base salary for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 + discretionary annual bonus. Pay ranges may vary by location will be awarded based on experience.
