The HR Solutions Manager leads a multi-region team of HR Solutions Partners, ensuring high-quality, consistent and business-centric HR delivery across assigned SET areas. Sitting at the intersection of strategy and execution, this role translates the Global HR Solutions Director’s vision and HRBPs people strategy into clear operational plans, overseeing delivery of HR processes, organisational change activity and workforce solutions that drive business performance.

Working in close partnership with HRBPs, the role anticipates demand, prioritises workload and ensures HR Solutions operates as a trusted, proactive and insight-driven function. It provides strong people leadership, building capability, coaching Senior and Solutions Partners, deploying resources effectively and enabling the team to operate with sound judgement, autonomy, agility and deep business intimacy.

The HR Solutions Manager ensures excellence in execution of annual people cycles and enterprise projects, embeds consistent standards, drives continuous improvement and champions digital and AI-enabled ways of working. As a key member of the HR Solutions leadership team, this role shapes culture, stewards the operating model, surfaces themes, risks and insights, and ensures predictable, high-quality, business-relevant outcomes across multiple SET areas, while gaining exposure to complex organisational dynamics, senior stakeholders and enterprise-level change.

Accountabilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a multi-region team of Senior and Solutions Partners, setting clear expectations and improving on judgement, autonomy and delivery while fostering a culture of accountability, growth and psychological safety.
  • Partner closely with HRBPs to ensure HR Solutions delivers the operational, organisational and workforce activity that underpins business performance, freeing HRBPs to focus on higher-value strategic priorities.
  • Use deep business intimacy to shape team focus, resource deployment and sequencing of HR activity, synthesising insights, themes and risks to inform HRBP decision-making and ensure work directly supports business outcomes.
  • Oversee and quality-assure organisational change and workforce projects delivered by Partners; co-design and lead SET-level or cross-functional change, capability and workforce initiatives that strengthen organisational health and performance.
  • Champion AI-enabled insights, digital tools, workflow automation and modernised ways of working; identify simplification opportunities and redesign processes to increase efficiency, reduce manual effort and enhance the HR Solutions operating model, partnering closely with HR Services on end-to-end improvements.
  • Build trusted relationships with HRVPs, HRBPs, business leaders, HR Services and CoEs, providing insight-led guidance that influences decisions at a senior level and helps shape the broader HR agenda.
  • Embed, refine and evolve the HR Solutions operating model with the Global HR Solutions Director, reinforcing clear boundaries across HRBP, Solutions, HR Services and CoEs so work sits in the right place and delivery is consistent, predictable and business-centred across SET areas.
  • Oversee the generation and interpretation of workforce insights, dashboards and AI-enabled analytics, building data literacy across the team and ensuring insights drive action in talent, workforce planning and organisational decisions.
  • Partner with the Director to shape the HR Solutions strategy, capability roadmap and transformation agenda, piloting new tools, methods and ways of working that embed continuous improvement and innovation. Essential Skills/Experience

  • Proven leadership of HR teams across multiple geographies and/or SET areas.  
  • Strong coaching capability; able to develop talent and uplift capability. 
  • Advanced stakeholder-management and influencing skills. 
  • Strong commercial and organisational understanding of multiple SET areas and their workforce needs  
  • Ability to interpret business strategy and translate into HR delivery requirements 
  • Broad HR expertise with differentiated knowledge in one or more subject areas.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and digital fluency. 
  • Expertise in major HR processes (talent, PD/RPD, SWP, reward, organisation change). 
  • Experience of leading business change or organisation effectiveness initiatives. 
  • High personal resilience and the ability to lead through ambiguity and transformation.  
  • Experience interpreting AI-generated insights or leading digital process transformations 
  • Experience working in global or highly matrixed organisations 
  • Knowledge of SET-specific business strategy and workforce dynamics
