About the Role

The HR Shared Services team is looking for a creative, resourceful, and organized HR Consultant to support a thoughtful and effective employee experience. You will provide analytical support and operational oversight within a shared services environment, handling a variety of complex functions related to HR and the full employee lifecycle.You will analyze data, develop insights, troubleshoot issues, participate in special projects and drive process improvement initiatives within the Shared Services function, including emerging AI technologies.

The HR Consultant will have a strong ability to work independently and proactively, leveraging critical thinking, anecdotes from relevant internal stakeholders, and data to anticipate potential issues and support solutions before they arise. In addition, the Consultant will consistently drive work forward autonomously, demonstrating strong initiative and ownership. Innovation is also a key component of success in this role, as we will look to you to proactively suggest improvements and drive process enhancements, whether based on your day-to-day work or identified through cross-functional collaboration.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Employee Experience:
    • Identify gaps and inefficiencies, provide standardization and improvement recommendations which impact the full employee lifecycle from hire to retire. 
    • Interact with employees, managers, and other internal teams including HR Business Partners, Recruiting, Compensation, L&D, Legal, and IT to provide direction and clarity on processes related to the employee life cycle and systems.
    • Own Tier II specialized support for important Shared Services programs such as immigration and unemployment, as well as complex employee issues, and maintain data integrity within Workday and other enterprise systems.
    • Identify gaps and opportunities and own process improvements for shared services tools and systems utilizing cutting edge technologies.
    • Consistently look for opportunities to enhance employee self service, drive adoption and support ongoing enhancements to automate workflows and increase self service utilization.
  • Metrics & Reporting:
    • Serve as administrator for the FreshService ticketing systems and other tools that support metrics & reporting. 
    • Use captured data to inform monthly and quarterly data insights for internal customers and People team to help drive business decisions and to inform process and vendor enhancements.
  • Compliance:
    • Maintain working knowledge and ability to research current, local employment laws, best practices and ensure Stitch Fix policies are legally compliant.
    • Utilize new tools and technology to proactively support the design and implement of new compliance processes and improvements and maintain and revise current compliance and audit standards.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Provide recommendations to Shared Services  leadership for enhancements to increase efficiency and add value to the user experience.
    • Maintain vendor relationships - support vendor relationships for effective operations and to ensure consistent service delivery and scalable solutions.
  • People Programs: 
    • Own and participate in ad hoc projects that support the broader People team and partner groups including HR Business Partners, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation and IT teams.

  • HR Experienced: Have 2-4 years of experience in HR in a people-focused or HR operations role; Have a Bachelor or Associate degree, or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • A strong communicator: Have strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the company.
  • Tech-savvy: Have proficient experience with Excel, Google Suite, HRIS; have the ability to quickly and efficiently learn how to use new systems and tools.
  • Analytical: Ability to analyze and synthesize metrics and data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of opportunity.

Compensation and Benefits

This role will receive a competitive salary and benefits. The salary for US-based employees hired into this role will be aligned with the range below, which includes our three geographic areas. A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, location, and performance. Salary Range
$58,900$98,000 USD
