Position Summary:

The HR Services Representative III role is to provide timely and accurate HR support to employees, field leadership and HR partners with escalated inquiries and requests related to HR systems, compliance, policies, procedures. This role is crucial in driving the continual adoption of employee and manager self-service by providing knowledge and technical support with navigating Petco’s Human Capital Management (HCM) system, time and attendance system and self-service processes.

Job Functions:

  • Provide technical support and guidance with HR systems including, but not limited to HCM (Workday) and time and attendance system (Dayforce)
  • Provide guidance and support to HR partners regarding compliance matters
  • Demonstrate outstanding problem-solving skills to resolve escalated HR inquiries and requests related to Workday and Dayforce in a timely, accurate and professional manner
  • Drive continuous adoption of employee and manager self-service within the organization by helping with navigating internal resources on Human Resources technology tools, policies, and procedures
  • Complete transactional work as needed to support according to internal job movement in alignment with Petco policies and procedures
  • Maintain SOPs and other documentation for Workday and Dayforce transactional-related procedures 
  • Support training initiatives for and provide mentorship and guidance to HR Services Representatives as necessary
  • Provide back-up support to HR Services Representatives with management of HRSC phone line
  • Stay informed on changes to policies and practices to contribute to the timeliness of resolution
  • Meet or exceed service level agreement metrics regarding commitments to case resolution timeframes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience working in Human Resources, Payroll or Benefits
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field or applicable experience
  • Previous HR Service Center case handling experience
  • Previous Workday (HCM) experience
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and HR systems
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to manage high workloads and conflicting priorities
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
