We are looking for a HR Services Manager to join our HR team here at Harrods. You will be responsible for delivering a high quality, accurate and consistent service to the business, which is centred on a Customer First strategy, measured against a balanced scorecard
About the Role
The HR Services Manager will act as a senior manager in the HR Operations team, with the ability to lead on projects relating to HR systems, processes and all operational activity across all areas of the HR function. The HR Services Manager will develop strong relationships with their peers across the HR function and with business stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner in all HR processes. They will ensure that leaders across the business are fully supported by the HR services team on both a reactive and pro-active basis. They will own our Customer First strategy and contribute to the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives and projects that support the broader People Strategy.
Job Responsibilities.
Create, edit, and tailor content for each platform, ensuring it feels authentic and Develops and delivers the HR Services operating plan which positions the team as a credible, trusted HR partner within the function and to our colleagues and leaders.
Owns the Customer First HR Service strategy, including our customer segmentation strategy.
Own the HR Services balanced scorecard, ensuring this accurately reflects the team delivery and service.
Builds a plan that ensures all leaders in our business are proficient in day-to-day HR and Workday processes.
Leads on the development and configuration of Workday on behalf of the business and the HR services team to ensure that we build a robust HR tool and have an effective eco system within the HR systems roadmap.
Leads on large projects across the HR operations teams as required.
Acts as a role model for high quality service, consistently setting the standard for exceptional standards.
About You
You’ll have experience of running a HR Shared Services team or HR Advisory Team, with the ability to motivate and influence. You’ll be experienced in end-to-end HR processes and HR policies with working knowledge of employment law. You’ll have experience of working with a HR system to improve service delivery and experience. You will be able to lead your own team and effectively collaborate and lead senior members. You will understand SLA’s, KPI’s and Balanced Scorecards that accurately reflect service and delivery.
In addition, you will also:
Be able to effectively plan and organise, managing a high volume of work accurately and to deadline.
Develop good collaborative relationships with HR and key business stakeholders.
Challenge the status quo and demonstrate the ability to make change happen.
Track record of delivering continuous improvement initiatives.
Attention to detail, combined with the ability to see a broader picture.
Demonstrable empathy and cultural sensitivity and a high level of personal and professional integrity
