MUFG is seeking a Human Resources Analyst to join their Global HR Central Services team in London. What you'll do:

  • Provide Tier 1.5 HR support to employees and stakeholders throughout the organisation, managing inquiries with a client-centric approach and escalating complex issues as required.
  • Create, assign, escalate, and resolve HR cases in AskHR/Workday according to standard operating procedures, policies, and service level agreements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for HR colleagues within your location, offering guidance on accountable HR case escalations and processes.
  • Advise and guide line managers on HR policies and procedures, including probation processes, escalating matters to Senior Advisors or Centres of Expertise when necessary.
  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, internal transfers, contract changes, promotions, salary changes, leave administration, and leaver processing.
  • Maintain accurate employee data and documentation by ensuring Workday records, personnel files, payroll information, ER details, and correspondence are complete and compliant.
  • Investigate and resolve complex escalations, complaints, and urgent exceptions while acting as a senior escalation point for junior team members.
  • Coach employees and managers to use Tier 0 self-service tools, Workday processes, and user guides to improve efficiency and reduce repeat inquiries.
  • Lead, advise, and coach AskHR Administrators to support capability building and consistent service delivery across the team.
  • Support HR audits and compliance activities by liaising with relevant partners and escalating risks or issues promptly.

What you bring:

  • Demonstrated experience as an HR Administrator is essential for handling transactional activities effectively within a global context.
  • Preferred experience as an Advisor or Analyst within the finance industry at a global organisation.
  • Proficiency in HR case management with SLA-driven case handling ensures timely resolution of employee inquiries.
  • Experience with Workday HCM data changes & transaction processing supports efficient record management.
  • Ability to apply SOPs/transaction matrices & conduct required information checks guarantees compliance with organisational standards.
  • Accurate case documentation & records handling is vital for maintaining up-to-date personnel files.
  • Knowledge of self-service enablement empowers employees through accessible resources.
  • Advanced escalation management skills in tiered global models facilitate effective issue resolution.
  • Support for change/program activities such as drafting training materials or stakeholder updates enhances departmental readiness.
  • Excellent communication skills foster positive relationships with colleagues at all levels.
  • Results driven mindset paired with accountability ensures tasks are completed efficiently without compromising quality.
