Role Summary

The HR Senior Manager Strategic Projects & Analytics will build and lead the India People Analytics function, improve HR data, systems, and process standards, and convert people trends into actionable insights that drive decisions.

The role partners with India and North America HR and business leaders, works across Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, HR Operations, HR Connect, Learning and Development, Employee Experience, and HRBPs, and ensures India insights and priorities are embedded in global people strategies.

This position represents India HR on global projects and owns delivery of India-focused strategic HR initiatives end to end, ensuring measurable impact, adoption, and alignment with global frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

1) HR Analytics (Build, Consistency, Impact)

  • Build and lead the India People Analytics COE, define structure, hire and coach talent, and establish a strong delivery cadence.
  • Develop and execute a multi-year analytics roadmap aligned to India priorities and global People strategy.
  • Deliver actionable dashboards, deep dives, and insights on attrition, hiring, DEI, performance, rewards, engagement, and mobility.
  • Own HR data integrity and governance in India across HRIS, ATS, LMS, and performance tools, ensuring accurate single source of truth.
  • Standardize India HR KPI definitions and reporting to align with North America and global metrics.
  • Enable HRBPs and COEs with self-service reporting through tools, training, and playbooks.

2) HR Project Management (India Focused, Cross Functional)

  • Plan and lead large-scale HR change projects in India (acquisitions, divestitures, rebadging, major org and workforce changes) from initial assessment through post go-live stabilization.
  • Lead and partner on HR transformation and continuous improvement, including redesign of the India HR operating model, COE / HRBP / HR Ops interfaces, and end-to-end HR processes to improve efficiency and employee experience.
  • Drive alignment across India and North America stakeholders, providing clear progress updates, decision forums, and risk / issue management in partnership with the global HR PMO and IMO.
  • Ensure scalable, compliant HR systems and process rollouts in India, overseeing localization, testing, deployment, and change management for new implementations and upgrades.
  • Use people analytics to shape and track these strategic projects, building clear dashboards and insights on headcount, attrition, hiring, cost, and productivity to inform decisions and measure impact.

Additional Scope

  • Act as the India and North America bridge for people data and HR transformation priorities, surfacing gaps and opportunities early.
  • Support India leadership with workforce insights, talent narratives, and business reviews.
  • Drive simplification and automation of recurring people reporting and HR processes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems, processes, and HR data ecosystems.
  • Proficient in Excel and analytics / HR platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Workday, Cornerstone).
  • Deep understanding of India and North America HR practices, compliance, and talent markets.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholders, manage ambiguity, and balance competing priorities.
  • Strong, executive-ready communication and storytelling skills.

Experience

  • 15+ years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years of HR leadership experience in one or more HR domains such as People Analytics, HR Operations, or HR Program Management.
  • Proven experience building and leading high-performing teams or COE capabilities.
  • Demonstrated success delivering large, multi-stakeholder HR programs end-to-end.
  • Prior experience working with global teams and stakeholders is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Workday, Cornerstone and other case management tools preferred

Success Measures (First 12 to 18 Months)

  • India People Analytics COE established with clear charter, roadmap, and delivery rhythm.
  • Seamless partnership and execution of active HR projects
  • India HR KPI framework standardized and aligned to North America and global definitions.
  • HR data quality improved and manual reporting effort materially reduced.
  • Insights driving measurable people and business outcomes.
  • India HR strategic project portfolio delivered on time with strong adoption and stakeholder satisfaction across India and North America.
