Light & Wonder, Inc.

HR Program Manager

REMOTE-USA-NV Full time

Corporate:

Light & Wonder’s corporate team is comprised of incredible talent that works across the enterprise, defying boundaries to provide essential services in an extraordinary manner to ensure the success of the organization and the well-being of employees.

Position Summary

As the Strategy and Operations Program Manager, you will act as a strategic partner to the People Capability leadership team, with a primary focus on the Enablement & Experience (E&E) organization. This role is a hybrid of a management consultant and a "chief of staff," responsible for driving the strategic operating rhythm, developing business cases, and designing operational reviews to measure performance.

While your anchor will be the E&E team (Analytics, Shared Services, Tech), you will play a critical enterprise role: partnering with all COE leaders to synthesize their roadmaps into a single, cohesive story for the organization. You will also serve as a key deputy to the PMO Director, providing backup support for the entire PC portfolio.

This role requires a high-level, strategic thinker with exceptional facilitation skills, a strong consulting background, and the executive presence to partner with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary Strategy & Operations partner for the PC E&E leadership team, translating their vision into actionable strategic plans and roadmaps.

  • Lead the development of robust business cases, financial models, and ROI analyses for new initiatives across the PC portfolio.

  • Performance Management & KPIs: Design and implement robust operational performance reviews. Define, track, and report on critical KPIs to drive accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with all PC COE leaders (including Total Rewards and Talent) to synthesize their individual roadmaps and wins into a single, cohesive narrative of PC's value.

  • Develop compelling, executive-level change management narratives for key transformations, ensuring a clear and consistent story.

  • Support E&E leadership team enablement by helping to plan and facilitate all-hands meetings, town halls, and strategic workshops.

  • Shadow the PMO Director in PC Leadership Team meetings and offsites, acting as a key partner in preparing materials and co-facilitating sessions.

  • Manage the full lifecycle of key strategic transformations, from initial concept and business case development through to execution, change management, and successful delivery.

  • Establish and run the governance and operating rhythm for the programs you oversee, ensuring clear communication, risk mitigation, and alignment with the PCLT and key stakeholders.

  • As a member of the central PMO, contribute to the continuous improvement of our PMO processes and standards.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in management consulting, strategic planning, business operations, or a similar high-impact role.

  • Strong understanding of HR principles and the operations of a People (HR) organization (e.g., COEs, Business Partners, Shared Services) is required.

  • Experience designing performance management frameworks and defining KPIs/metrics to measure operational success.

  • Proven experience in building business cases, financial modeling, and ROI analysis.

  • Experience working in a Global organization with complex, cross-functional teams is strongly preferred.

  • Executive-level communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with a demonstrated ability to create compelling narratives from complex data.

  • Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor, influencing and partnering with senior executives.

  • A highly independent and proactive self-starter, comfortable navigating ambiguity and a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple, complex priorities and competing deadlines.

  • Familiarity with project management tools (Monday.com, Jira, etc.) is a plus.

  • Understanding of the HR technology landscape (Workday, etc.) is a strong plus.
