The Baker Hughes Internship is designed to enable students pursuing a Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree to gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of their professional lives. As an Intern, you will be responsible for: 

  • Support the execution of payroll and benefits processes to ensure accuracy and compliance 

  • Assist in monitoring service delivery metrics and supplier performance for assigned processes 

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for standardization and simplification 

  • Help deliver excellent customer service by responding to employee and HR partner queries 

  • Maintain data accuracy and timeliness in line with legal and Baker Hughes policy requirements 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships through proactive communication 

  • Stay updated on internal and external changes and share insights with the team 

  • Provide ad-hoc operational support for payroll and benefits activities 

  • Assist in internal and external audits and support year-end reporting and related statistics 

Fuel your passion 

To be successful in this role you will: 

  • Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 

  • Interest in HR Operations, Payroll & Benefits, or Global Mobility Services preferred 

  • Have strong attention to detail and a passion for learning HR operations 

  • Be fluent in English (Arabic is plus point) with strong communication skills 

  • Demonstrate a customer-focused mindset and ability to work independently or as part of a team 

  • Show interest in process improvement and data accuracy 

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) 

  • Strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple tasks will help you succeed. A proactive attitude, integrity, and willingness to learn are essential.
