Role Summary:
We are establishing a new and exciting HR People Center organization within Flowserve that will take on critical, operational Human Resources work with a goal of increasing collaboration, leveraging shared knowledge, and creating a more consistent associate experience. The HR Partner, Specialized Care is a subject matter expert and will handle escalated associate or manager/supervisor inquiries. Will ensure associates have access to necessary support and that we remain compliant with any country requirements. In this role will report into the Manager, People Center.
Responsibilities:
Understand and be able to communicate HR policies, processes, and procedures
Provide coaching and counsel on performance, compensation, career development, etc. that aligns to and supports business strategy and attainment of objectives
Support with talent development solutions with the ability to identify needs and make appropriate recommendations.
Effectively guide leaders through difficult situations, employee relations and conflict
Ask critical questions in order to evaluate situation and provide guidance
Maintain broad-based knowledge of the organization and its operations
Effectively and efficiently navigate complex global organizations to resolve issues
Provide relevant updates and/or concerns regarding service delivery model for selected countries
Regularly review service model for identified countries
Oversee policy & compliance
Escalated self-service transactions
Involuntary Terminations and RIF Support
Performance Management (Coaching, Discipline & PIP)
Employee or Labor Relations and Investigations
Internal movement
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (Emphasis in HR or Business Administration a plus)
6+ years’ experience in HR Shared Services Operations, HR Business partnering, or Service Delivery
Knowledge in Involuntary Terminations and RIF Support, performance management and labor relations and investigations
Exceptional customer service, emotional intelligence and empathy
Thorough with responses to inquiries and issues
Strong consultative skills and ability to influence without direct authority
Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Preferred Skills:
Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws and regulations
Ability to travel domestically up to 20%
Global experience a plus
Manufacturing experience a plus
Hybrid role: 4 days in office/1 day remote (work from home)
