 About our diverse Business Unit

Beauty & Wellbeing PTAB (0.8 Bn Euro TO in size) is one of the newest and fastest growing Business Units for the BG with an exciting and diverse consumer & customer landscape. The genesis of this new BU is firmly rooted in the large opportunity these markets represent for Unilever. Top 4 markets include: Arabia, Turkiye, Pakistan and Bangladesh, with smaller businesses of the balance countries. Arabia is the highest beauty per capita spend market within the BU where the consumer evolution is the most advanced and hence competitive. We equally have very strong businesses in Pakistan, Turkiye and Bangladesh with high market shares, ripe for the next phase of transformation. The business is on a positive trajectory on growth and profit and gaining competitively. With the latest change, we are decisively kicking off the transformation journey in our Demand creation mode across our GM organization with a focus on driving social first transformation, unmissable brand superiority across touchpoints, while accelerating in the key beauty channels.

Human Resources/Business Partnering

In Unilever HR Business Partnering teams provide strategic partner support on organisation, talent, top team effectiveness, resource allocation and business delivery (i.e. setting and implementing the people priorities for a business area). 

HR Partner roles support Senior HR Business Partners on HR business partnering activities such as talent management, organisation design, building capabilities for today and tomorrow and evolving a beauty culture of outperformance.

If you are passionate about leading the delivery of the strategic people agenda for Beauty & Wellbeing Business Unit in PTAB region then this role is just for you.

This is a stretching and varied role, which blends business partnering skills with strategic HR projects. The role is designed to build and develop strategic HRBP capabilities, working to unlock talent, design and implement transformation programmes, build unique capabilities, embed new and future WoW as well as coaching and developing teams. The role will lead cross-functional projects, aligned to people strategy and priorities.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE:

  • Implement key interventions in line with the People strategy and deploy the expertise & innovation agenda for Beauty & Wellbeing PTAB. Also where relevant, contribute to design of global products and interventions with the Expertise and Innovation teams
  • Support the delivery of the people agenda in building a future-fit organisation with the key capabilities needed to meet business priorities such as digital, social-first and AI tech.
  • Support the talent agenda including pipelining internally and externally, preparing and running high quality talent forums using relevant data and insights  
  • Support HR Business Partner in organizational design, effectiveness and strategic workforce planning, including overheads management for the total BG/BU/Operations/Functional team
  • Maintain a grip of key workforce data metrics and data quality, through simplified processes giving instructions to the hub
  • Lead key cyclical people processes – the total End of Year process including Annual Pay Review and performance management including people development forums, goal setting and calibration where necessary.
  • Generate meaningful data insights across various sources/platforms and pro-actively identify HR solutions to business problems, supporting business leads to further their agenda and deliver priority interventions
  • Manage the change and transformation agenda and implications if applicable are considered in different geographies

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of HR Experience, demonstrating a proven track record of delivery
  • Experience in leading the projects end-to-end

  • Strong knowledge in organisational development and change, talent management, business partnering, performance management and reward
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to successfully lead and deliver complex projects within a matrix organization
  • Comfortable working autonomously and dealing with ambiguity.
