Join our team - as an HR Operations Specialist where your ideas truly matter. Your new role: As an HR Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting QuidelOrtho employees and managers in your region. You will help ensure a great employee experience by maintaining smooth HR processes, systems, and data.

In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for employees and managers, guiding them through HR processes, policies, and tools. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and HR Business Partners within our EMEA HR Operations team.

There will be opportunities to contribute to regional projects and grow your HR expertise beyond the Czechia and Russia cluster!


What you’ll de doing in your new role:

Core HR Operations:

  • Manage key HR Ops processes across the employee lifecycle:

    • Pre-hire: Prepare required documents and checks in cooperation with TA and BP

    • Hire: Support onboarding, induction, and registration for payroll and benefits

    • Employee lifecycle: Provide daily support for HR queries, HR systems, and employee data changes

  • Respond to and resolve employee and manager inquiries related to pay, benefits, holidays, absences, and other HR matters.

  • Maintain accurate data and ensure high integrity across HR systems and processes.

Payroll Coordination:

  • Act as the main point of contact for submitting monthly payroll instructions (salary changes, deductions, benefit values, overtime, new joiners, leavers, etc.).

  • Partner closely with the Payroll team to ensure smooth and timely payroll processing.

Process & Documentation:

  • Develop and maintain documentation, guides, and self-service materials for managers and employees.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes, reducing manual work where possible.

  • Support reporting, metrics, audits, and compliance activities.

The individual:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in HR) or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in HR Operations, HRIS, or Payroll.

  • Experience supporting Czechia and/or multiple European countries is an advantage.

  • Good knowledge of HRIS, Payroll, Benefits, and HR Compliance.

  • Strong working knowledge of Workday.

  • Advanced user of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience writing and maintaining HR policies, procedures, and employee guides.

  • Fluency in Czech and English is mandatory, proficiency in Russian or any additional languages (e.g. German) is an advantage.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

  • High attention to detail, data orientation, and strong sense of ownership.

  • Clear, empathetic, employee-focused communication style.

  • Positive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative culture.
