The Global Mobility Operations Specialist (Tier II) serves as a key escalation point for employee and vendor inquiries related to global mobility cases. This role partners closely with Navigators, Centers of Excellence (COE), Immigration Coordinators, Technology, Operations, and other stakeholders to investigate, track, and resolve issues efficiently and accurately.

What You Will Do

  • Provides operational support that strengthens the Global Mobility delivery model, ensuring alignment with policy, processes, business controls, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Helps to implement and maintain internal processes for all global assignments and collaborates with Enterprise Services and COE teams to enhance procedures supporting international assignees.
  • Support a global workforce of 1,000+ active assignees and ~200 pending, rotational, or repatriating cases; may also support domestic relocation processes.
  • Serve as a subject matter champion across all relocation and deployment types.
  • Receive, track, and resolve employee and business escalations or special requests.
  • Manage and resolve vendor escalations related to individual employee cases.
  • Collaborate with Business Units and Enterprise Services partners on internal assignment-related process requirements and escalations (e.g., medical clearance, travel & expense).
  • Coordinate with ES and COE teams to update or implement employee-facing mobility processes.
  • Manage employee-initiated exception requests, including documentation and approval workflows.
  • Support complex employee populations worldwide, including unique programs and contracts.
  • Partner with third‑party vendors to ensure alignment with employee and business mobility processes and requirements.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in HRIS systems, Excel, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Minimum 4 years of Global Mobility experience.

The salary range for this role is 43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
