DESCRIPTION:
Join our purpose-driven team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as an HR Manager where you'll contribute to enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. As a trusted advisor to business leaders, you'll implement strategic HR initiatives while providing comprehensive support across talent management, employee relations, and organizational development. Partner closely with leaders to shape and execute people strategies that foster engagement, performance, and growth.
In this role, you'll lead HR operations including performance management, compensation planning, talent acquisition, and policy development. Build strong partnerships across the organization while coaching managers on HR best practices, complex employee relations matters, and organizational changes. Implement continuous improvement of HR processes and programs while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. You'll succeed in our collaborative environment where you can leverage your expertise to develop effective HR solutions that support business objectives.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced degree plus 8 years of experience, or bachelor's degree plus 8 years of experience in HR with progressive responsibility
• Preferred Fields of Study: Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements
• Excellence in talent management including recruitment, performance management, and employee development
• Proven ability to build partnerships and influence at all organizational levels
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Strategic mindset with ability to translate long-term vision into actionable plans
• Strong decision-making capabilities and adaptability
• Project management expertise and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Demonstrated leadership skills with high degree of professionalism and integrity
• Experience using HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Change management and organizational development experience
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Solutions-oriented approach with strong focus on results
• Experience in matrix organizations preferred
