This role will be located in any RBC Caribbean Banking market where the successful candidate resides.

We are recruiting on a Contract Basis for 1 year.

What is the opportunity?

As part of a dynamic recruitment team, you will leverage your consultative approach to manage the recruitment process across RBC Caribbean Banking.  As a HR Manager - Recruitment you will develop a solid understanding of your assigned businesses and build strong relationships with managers, candidates and HR Business Partners/HR Managers in the various markets. To be successful you will have a proven track record in delivering recruitment services and managing relationships with hiring managers of all levels. Personal success comes from knowing you were closely involved with identifying, assessing and collaborating with hiring managers in selecting high performing employees. 

What will you do?

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for the business throughout the recruitment cycle providing consultative recruitment support. Coaching and influencing managers on final candidate selections compensation packages, etc.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with hiring managers and HR partners to understand current and future recruitment needs and determines optimum sourcing strategies.
  • Performs recruiting function including sourcing/screening/ presenting candidates/recommending compensation packages/negotiating compensation, where applicable/declining candidates in consultation with Hiring Managers/HR Business Partners.
  • Develop cost effective, efficient, creative and innovative solutions to sourcing challenges.
  • Generate candidate flow through a variety of sourcing channels such as LinkedIn, employee referrals and database mining.
  • Source and maintain a pipeline of candidates that align to assigned business areas; including sourcing diverse candidates & leveraging diverse candidate pipelines.
  • Educate, consult and transfer knowledge of recruiting processes, diversity recruitment, interviewing skills and regulatory requirements to hiring managers.
  • Participate in special projects as required.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1 - 2 years of full cycle recruiting delivering recruitment services and managing relationships with hiring managers of all levels
  • Ability to partner with hiring managers, understand the needs of the business and translate them to effective hiring strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to established sense of urgency and responsiveness, prioritizing and managing multiple tasks
  • Reputation for relationship building and influencing others through a consultative approach

Nice-to-have

  • Corporate/in-house recruiting
  • Understanding of high-volume recruiting
  • Demonstrated capability in managing the end-to-end HR process ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
