Summary
The HR Generalist will support the business by delivering comprehensive, hands-on HR services across employee lifecycle management, compensation & benefits, and workforce coordination. Acting as a trusted frontline HR advisor, this role partners closely with managers and employees to ensure consistent application of HR policies, compliance with local labor laws, and a positive employee experience. The role plays a critical part in enabling operational excellence while supporting business priorities in Vietnam office.
This role reports directly to the Director, Human Resources based in the US.
Key Responsibilities:
1.HR Advisor
•Act as a first point of contact for managers and employees on HR-related matters
•Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, HR policies and procedures
•Support managers in handling employee issues and developing team capability
•Build trusted relationships with stakeholders to enhance employee experience
2.HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
•Manage end-to-end HR processes including onboarding, contract management, probation tracking, and offboarding
•Prepare employment documentation such as offer letters, labor contracts, and HR-related communications
•Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
•Ensure all HR practices comply with Vietnam labor laws and company policies
3.Compensation & Benefits (C&B)
•Coordinate and validate monthly payroll data, including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and promotions
•Administer employee benefits, including social insurance, health insurance, and other company benefits
•Manage employee lifecycle changes related to compensation and benefits (e.g., contract updates, allowances, final settlements)
•Handle employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and entitlements
•Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and timely submission to relevant authorities
4.Business Travel & Mobility Support
•Support business travel arrangements, including visa applications, work permits (if applicable), and required documentation
•Coordinate with business leaders to plan and align onsite schedules and staffing
•Prepare employees for onsite assignments (logistics, policies, compliance requirements)
•Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth travel and onsite execution
•Track and maintain records related to travel, visa status, and assignments
5.Contingent Workforce Management
•Act as the primary HR point of contact between the company and contingent workers’ vendors/suppliers
•Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for contingent workers, ensuring compliance with company policies
•Monitor contract duration, renewals, and workforce allocation in partnership with business leaders
•Support issue resolution related to contingent workers (attendance, performance feedback, administrative matters)
•Ensure proper documentation, tracking, and compliance related to contingent workforce arrangements
•Collaborate with Finance and Legal on vendor coordination and related processes
6.Employee Engagement & HR Projects
•Plan and execute employee engagement activities and company events
•Support implementation of HR programs, policies, and initiatives aligned with global HR strategy
•Participate in HR projects and continuous process improvements
7.Compliance & Reporting
•Ensure HR documentation and practices are compliant with local labor regulations
•Monitor contract renewals and statutory deadlines
•Prepare HR reports, analytics, and audits as required
Required Qualifications
1.Education & Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field
•3 - 5 years of HR experience, including HR operations and C&B
•Experience in contingent workforce / vendor coordination and business travel support is a plus
2.Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
•Strong knowledge of Vietnam labor law, payroll, and statutory benefits
•Ability to manage both operational execution and stakeholder coordination
•Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (including external vendors)
•High attention to detail and strong data accuracy mindset
•Proactive, hands-on, and able to manage multiple priorities
•Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems (Workday)
