What You'll Do

Main Purpose:

To provide end-to-end strategic and operational HR leadership to DJO’s supervisory organizations in India. Total employee headcount of approximately 500+ associates consisting of management, Marketing Staff, RCM, and other functions that might be hired in the future. ​ Partner with management to foster a people-led culture and support the full employee lifecycle in a matrix structure. ​Work within and actively promote Int’l People & Culture strategies, policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct. ​

Key Accountabilities:

  • Full remit HR generalist accountable for all HR activities across India, including any administration associated with the role. ​
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and processes. ​
  • Continuously update the employee handbook and relevant policies for India, as required. ​
  • Work with AON on local benefits and insurances in partnership with Benefits HR COE.
  • Support the recruitment process, onboarding, employment relationship management, in partnership with Talent Acquisition HR COE. ​
  • Partner within the Head of HR India to drive annual and project-based HR initiatives (e.g., compensation & benefits, talent development, engagement surveys, and associated action planning) in partnership with HR COEs. ​
  • Support the local management team in creating meaningful development and engagement plans for their staff in partnership with Talent COE.
  • Conduct pay and benefits reviews to ensure Enovis is competitive in the market in partnership with TR COE.
  • Work in partnership with Finance on payroll, taxes, holidays, and benefits in partnership with HR COEs. ​
  • Use Workday as a system of reference, produce reports, and drive accountability on managers to keep employee data up-to-date and accurate. ​
  • Support people leaders to manage any performance-related issues. ​
  • Drive Wellbeing programs to support a healthy and productive workforce. ​
  • Ensure management is kept informed of any irregularities or non-conformance. ​
  • Build strong communication and be a conduit between the different teams in India. ​

Authority:

  • Authorized to immediately record and report to your Manager any employee issues or non-compliance with local labor laws and processes. ​
  • Work within and actively promote Enovis India strategies, policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct. ​

  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills in English. ​
  • Can work autonomously but is also a team player. ​
  • Self-motivated and positive with a high attention to detail. ​
  • Ability to understand and use analytical concepts to manage report creation and management. ​
  • Ability to cope with changing priorities and handle a broad variety of tasks at once. ​
  • Ability to deal with a broad cross-section of people at various levels of seniority. ​

Experience and Knowledge:

  • 5+ years’ experience in an HR Management role; global company experience preferred. ​
  • Proficient in verbal and written English. ​
  • Preferred background in Medical Device or a Sales-based organization. ​
  • Sound working knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity and anti-discrimination legislation and principles. ​
  • Sound knowledge and application of Indian Labor Laws and frameworks. ​
  • Experience in supervising and/or executing payroll and year-end reporting. ​

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified. ​
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar position. ​
