About the role

Work as business partner to provide strategic HR support to the China QSC organization. This role will work with the HR COE and operations to ensure the BU HR deliveries are aligned with business and HR strategies in a consistent manner across Haleon. This includes workforce planning, culture and organization effectiveness. Responsible for advising and coaching managers, reinforcing manager accountability, and support business growth and transformation

           

Role Title China QSC HR Director

Report to:  HR VP, China Mainland & HK

Location: Shanghai

Responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Drive global HR strategy and working model in China Supply Chain & Suzhou site; support all Managers to know well about HR operational solution.
  • Lead the execution of global HR programs in BU such as performance management, talent planning, and engagement survey, compensation planning etc. to align with business and HR strategies change. Ensure BU to deliver the global program on time with high quality.
  • Work closely with HR COE & Operation team on the HR program implementation and collect business feedback to HR experts
  • Work with Business Leaders to develop people strategies and design approaches for diagnosing and enhancing organizational effectiveness
  • Shape the organization structure by aligning activities with people and capabilities in support of business operations
  • Support the change management for organizational changes and provide appropriate solutions to the Business Unit from HR perspective
  • Monitor and foster talent by facilitating talent reviews. Plan for succession and identify the values, behaviors and skills for future leaders to develop.
  • Provide active coaching, feedback and present solutions to the people managers on people issues such as performance, ER, compliance matters etc.
  • Partner with Business HR Lead to understand the business requirements and strategies, work with HR COE to ensure talent retention
  • Develop and optimize policies in terms of rewards, recognition, and discipline, etc. to enhance people engagement and Haleon Culture. .
  • Provide professional advice to people managers to ensure all the people management related activities comply with government regulations and laws requirement
  • HR Operation to meet the requirement of audit, inspection, evaluation activities in BU by effectively executing and following improvement actions for the findings.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree above with Management related Specialization
  • Minimum 10 years HR work experience including 5 years management role in multinational company.
  • Good consulting and coaching skills and the ability to build strong relationships with different people across the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating, planning, and deploying HR programs and initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyses data.
  • Quick learning agility
  • Strong growth mindset for continuous improvement and meeting or exceeding client expectation
