At Cancer Research UK, we exist to beat cancer.

We are professionals with purpose, beating cancer every day. But we need to go much further and much faster. That’s why we’re looking for someone talented, someone who wants to develop their skills, someone like you.

The HR department plays an essential role in engaging and inspiring Cancer Research UK’s large and dynamic workforce (c. 4,000+ headcount) by delivering operational transformation, governance, and an employee experience that enables us to be an inclusive, sustainable, and agile organisation. This role will be part of our HR Business Partnering team, which partners across the organisation to develop and deliver our ambitious people plans in support of our directorates’ strategies and business needs, while ensuring these align with the wider HR operating plan and priorities.

This is an excellent development opportunity for someone studying towards their CIPD qualification to gain exposure across HR change processes within a supportive team of skilled HR Business Partners, or for an experienced HR professional seeking flexible, part-time work.

By the end of this contract, your legacy will be to have made a pivotal contribution to delivering the people-focused aspects of the directorates' and charity's strategic goals. If you’re a HR professional with an understanding of HR policies and employment law, strong administrative skills, and an interest in people‑centred change, we’d love for you to join our mission.
