Job Description

Overview:

Working collaboratively with the Human Resources team, the HR Coordinator provides day-to-day operational and administrative HR support, including recruitment coordination, team member inquiries, HR data and reporting support, internal communications, and assistance with HR projects and programs. This role provides exposure to Advisor-level HR work and opportunities to grow skills in employee relations, recruitment, and HR project support
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creates and manages job requisitions in Workday system

  • Conducts initial phone interviews and provides candidate assessments to hiring managers

  • Acts as the project manager for recruitment activities, coordinating between the Talent Acquisition team and hiring leaders to ensure timely, organized, and effective hiring processes

  • Leads onboarding preparation and delivery

  • Actively monitors onboarding effectiveness and identifies opportunities to enhance processes and the new hire experience

  • Prepares confidential documentation as required

  • Responds to team member and leader inquiries, providing timely guidance or escalating matters as appropriate

  • Tracks key HR activities and statuses to support visibility and follow-up

  • Provides administrative and coordination support for HR initiatives and projects as required

  • Coordinate employee leaves of absence, including tracking, documentation, system updates, and communication with team members, leaders, and benefits provider

  • Prepares communications as required

  • Coordinates training schedule for selected HR initiatives

  • Maintains a “super user” level of knowledge on Workday functions, reporting capability and system understanding

  • Maintains accurate and confidential team member records, ensuring HR and compensation data is complete and up to date

  • Prepares reports from Workday as required for analysis, HR reporting and use by HR team

  • Identifies opportunities to improve HR processes, templates, and workflows, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the HR team
     

What You'll Bring:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • 1–3 years of experience in an HR, recruitment, or administrative coordination role

  • Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes

  • Comfortable working with HR systems and databases (e.g., HRIS, applicant tracking systems), including AI-enabled tools, and standard Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when working with confidential employee information and HR documentation
