HR Business Partner (HRBP)

Role Summary
We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven HR Business Partner to join a dynamic, fast-paced technology company. In this role, you will partner closely with leaders and managers to help them achieve business goals by proposing and implementing people and culture initiatives that drive sustainable high performance.
This HR Business Partner role provides HR support to an R&D organization. As the primary HR contact for this group, you will deliver a full spectrum of strategic and tactical HR support while serving as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders and managers.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary HR Business Partner to leaders and managers across the R&D organization
Partner closely with leadership to support business objectives through effective people strategies
Deliver end-to-end HR support across:
Workforce planning and organizational design
Compensation and performance management
Talent development, retention, and succession planning
Employee relations and manager coaching
Coach managers on navigating a wide range of people-related challenges with consistency, sound judgment, and empathy
Facilitate and implement Center of Excellence (COE)–driven programs and initiatives
Identify, propose, and implement solutions related to talent acquisition, engagement, development, and retention
Leverage an understanding of the business, organization, and goals to anticipate needs and proactively drive change
Partner with HR COEs to bring specialist insights and scalable programs to the business
Use data and insights to surface trends, inform decisions, and drive action
Operate with a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment

Qualifications
6+ years of relevant HR Business Partner experience
BA or BS degree, preferably in HR, Business, or a related field
Experience supporting technical or engineering teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong consulting, coaching, and facilitation skills
Ability to use data to identify insights and drive action
Demonstrated experience influencing leaders and applying critical-thinking skills to complex problems
Thrives in a collaborative, culturally diverse, fast-paced environment
Solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
Demonstrated interest in leveraging AI, automation, or emerging tools to improve HR effectiveness, efficiency, and decision-making
The annual salary range for California is $108,500 to $201,500. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
