Puma Energy are seeking a talented and highly motivated all-rounder HR practitioner to support their Australian operations for 12 months on a fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension. The role will support global functional initiatives, be a member of the Senior Leadership Team in Australia and have off-shore support for facets of the HR function. This is a critical and well-valued role in the Organisation and plays a pivotal part in the Operations in country, reporting to the Regional Head of HR – ME-AP. The successful candidate will be based out of the Brisbane City office.
As the HR Business Partner for Australia, you’ll lead the development of our HR policies, deliver tailored HR advice, and oversee and manage the entirety of employee lifecycle activities from recruitment to workforce planning and capability development, to budgeting and head counting, to redundancies and terminations. This role is a chance for someone to drive improvement, influence culture, and be part of a group where your ideas and expertise are valued. You will also work closely with leaders to deliver strategic and operational advice and coaching on people-related matters and delivers HR initiatives aligned to business goals. This is the sole role for Human Resources in Australia and the successful candidate will have the ability to truly make a difference in the close-knit organisation.
