Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive, commercially aware HR Assistant to support the delivery of efficient, structured and high-quality people processes across the business.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring our employee experience is consistent, compliant and aligned to the needs of a fast-paced, client-led agency environment.
Working closely with the HR team, the HR Assistant will provide accurate, confidential and timely support across the full employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
Deliver efficient day-to-day HR administration across all stages of the employee lifecycle.
Coordinate onboarding processes, including contracts, right-to-work documentation, system updates and ensuring a professional joining experience.
Support probation processes, internal moves, salary changes and offboarding activity.
Prepare and issue HR documentation including contractual changes, confirmation letters and policy updates.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure full data integrity across HR systems.
Track absence, family leave and other statutory entitlements, ensuring compliance and appropriate documentation.
Support benefits administration and ensure employees receive clear information on available benefits.
2. HR Systems & Data Management
Act as a systems administrator across HR platforms (including HRIS, performance and engagement systems).
Maintain accurate employee data in BambooHR (or equivalent system), ensuring records are complete and audit-ready.
Support the administration of Culture Amp (or equivalent), including performance cycles, goal tracking and engagement surveys.
Generate people reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
Assist with data preparation for salary reviews, bonus processes and workforce planning.
Ensure system processes are followed consistently and escalate issues where improvements are needed.
3. Employee Relations & HR Team Support
Provide structured administrative support to the HR Team on employee relations matters.
Prepare documentation and meeting packs for formal processes including performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Prepare slides for the weekly All-Employee Town Hall.
Take accurate and confidential notes in formal meetings when required.
Track case progress and ensure actions and timelines are followed through.
Handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Ensure HR systems are updated accurately following formal processes.
4. Learning, Development & Career Progression
Support the coordination of training sessions, development initiatives and internal programmes.
Assist with scheduling and administration of leadership training, capability development and career progression activity.
Coordinate documentation and tracking linked to professional development.
Help ensure learning initiatives are organised, communicated effectively and recorded appropriately.
5. Engagement, Wellbeing & Culture
Support the planning and coordination of employee engagement initiatives.
Assist with wellbeing programmes and internal people initiatives.
Coordinate logistics and communications for key celebration and recognition days (e.g. International Women’s Day and other culture initiatives).
Support survey activity and engagement follow-ups.
Contribute to initiatives that strengthen retention, team effectiveness and employee experience.
6. Cross-Business HR Support
Support HR-led initiatives across different areas of the business throughout the year.
Provide structured coordination for people-related programmes, including performance cycles, training initiatives, workforce planning activity and engagement projects.
Work closely with managers to ensure HR processes are understood, implemented consistently and completed on time.
Maintain clear communication between HR and operational teams to ensure alignment and execution of people priorities.
Escalate complex matters appropriately to the HR Advisor.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in an HR administration or coordination role.
Experience within a fast-paced or agency environment advantageous.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable operating in a deadline-driven, commercially focused environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Discreet and trustworthy, with the ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially.
Confident using Microsoft Office; experience with HR systems such as BambooHR, Culture Amp or similar platforms beneficial.
Proactive mindset with a genuine interest in developing a career in HR.
