Summary:
The HR Advisor will provide support to the HRBP Lead, Talent Management Manager, and Comp & Benefits Manager contributing to a wide range of activities, in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

1. HR & Systems Operations
HRIS Focal Point: Act as the primary user for HRIS platforms (Workday, ADP, Intranet), managing transactional updates and data integrity.
Data & Analytics: Maintain HR dashboards; compile and analyze payroll/headcount data using spreadsheet tools to identify trends like absenteeism.
Global Consistency: Ensure data alignment across different countries and provide qualitative reporting for year-end audits.
Compliance: Support work permit documentation and assist HRBPs in updating organizational policies to remain compliant with local legislation.
2. Employee Experience & Engagement
Office Focal Point: Serve as the first point of contact for the Waterloo office, resolving employee inquiries regarding policies and procedures.
Culture: Collaborate on engagement activities and process improvements to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
3. Talent Acquisition & Lifecycle Management
Recruitment Support: Help source great talent and assist hiring managers with interview scheduling and candidate communication throughout the hiring process.
Early Careers Coordination: Act as a key point of contact for our internship and apprenticeship programs, helping to organize and run recruitment campaigns for students.
New Joiner Experience: Coordinate the administrative steps for onboarding and offboarding, ensuring new hires have everything they need for a smooth first day.
4. Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Support
Campaign Deployment: Support the execution of annual cycles, including bonus allocations and salary reviews.
Benefits Admin: Assist employees with enrollment, changes, and general inquiries regarding their benefits packages.
Payroll Liaison: Ensure all necessary data is provided to the payroll department in a timely and accurate manner.
5. Health, Safety & Special Projects
H&S Leadership: Lead the Health and Safety Team’s quarterly meetings and ensure all safety responsibilities are executed on schedule.
Global Support: Contribute to various ad-hoc HR projects on a global scale as business needs evolve.
