HR Administrator
Location: Gloucester
Contract: Fixed-term-contract until 31/08/2027; Monday – Friday 08.30-17.00
Salary: £27,500 plus great company benefits & hybrid working
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional to join our team and play a vital role in delivering high-quality support across the employee lifecycle on a fixed-term-contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on efficiently triaging requests for support, liaising with employees, managers and other stakeholders to deal with queries, keeping them up to date at all times, maintaining accurate records in our HRIS and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing HR documentation and processes, updating HR records, supporting colleagues and contributing to the smooth operation of the wider HR function.

About the Role:
To provide a proactive, customer driven service to candidates, employees, colleagues and managers by collating and inputting HR data and associated documents onto the HR database and providing advice and support in an accurate, consistent and timely manner.
The successful Administrator will have strong IT skills, a clear focus on customer service, be a team player and have previous relevant experience. Your duties will include:
Providing accurate, timely and efficient HR administration
Maintaining and promoting data security, quality and integrity, working within the parameters of confidentiality, within GDPR and Employment law principles at all times
Delivering high quality HR service within a high-volume service within agreed HR KPIs and SLAs
Identifying and raising more complex HR issues to the appropriate person within the wider HR Team
Utilising and recording all task requests via Workday or Service Now to assist in effective processing across the team and allow for escalation where appropriate
Producing and issuing accurate standard documentation
Building, developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external customers
Working with HR colleagues and other business functions to ensure effective HR Administration tasks are completed for effective service delivery
Key Criteria:
Proven experience of working within a fast paced, high volume operational or administrative environment
Comfortable with working in a confidential environment
Ability to communicate at all levels with people from varying backgrounds both orally and in writing
Experience handling inbound and outbound calls, providing a high standard of customer service.
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines
Ability to use initiative to resolve issues and identify and develop a solution-based outcome
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work using own initiative as well as working as part of a team
Positive attitude and the ability to keep calm under pressure
Capacity to absorb new information quickly and accurately
Self –motivated, self-disciplined and enthusiastic, tenacious with a strong attention to detail
