HPS Data Architect & Analytics Lead

Description -

The HPS Business Analytics & Insights team is responsible for leading the data enablement and analytics that create business insights, inform business decisions, and improve financial performance.

The HPS Data Architect & Analytics Lead will play a key role in developing and maintaining tools and capabilities that drive business insights and decisions.  We work cross-functionally across the HPS organization to create long-term capabilities within the business units that expose business drivers, leading and lagging indicators, and opportunity identification.  Within the evolution of analytics, our goal is to move from descriptive to diagnostic to predictive to prescriptive.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage team analytics ecosystem, including data engineering and database administration within a SQL environment
  • Design and develop solutions within the DataBricks environment to enable automation and insight generation
  • Troubleshoot data gaps or data quality issues as they arise
  • Extract, translate, and load critical data feeds that drive important downstream processes
  • Creative data modeling that allow us to understand and predict HPS performance
  • Manage the publication of key reports and analysis
  • Support various ad-hoc requests from all levels of management

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong SQL programming experience
  • Relational database administration
  • Power Shell understanding
  • Familiar with Power BI and Power Automate
  • Data management & data modeling
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience or interest in predictive analytics (Python/R/ML)
  • Strong teamwork and facilitation abilities
  • Self-starter with ability to drive projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Detail-orientated
  • Capability to work on multiple high-priority projects while prioritizing workload to meet commitments
  • Strong SQL programming experience
  • Relational database administration
  • Power Shell understanding

 Education and Experience

  • BA or BS in CS, MIS, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 10+ years experience

The base pay range for this role is $130,750 to $205,200 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
