Job Family Definition:
Responsible for the management of a service enablement process of significant scope and complexity at the country, region or worldwide level. Includes but is not limited to development, implementation and governance of service product or solution portfolio lifecycle management, revenue growth programs through the appropriate routes to market. Includes but is not limited to achieving revenue, profit, cost and efficiency, and/or internal and external TCE goals for that segment/entity.
Management Level Definition:
Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.
The Packaging Design Operation and Implementation Manager will be responsible for
- Implementing the packaging strategy and design developed by Senior Packaging Strategy and Design Managers within the existing service product structure in the Build and Implement phase of complex new service introductions (NSIs) and new service portfolio introductions across all BUs working closely with the senior Packaging Strategy and Design Managers, Portfolio Offer Managers, and Master Data teams
- Leading the packaging design by applying existing packaging strategies to new service introductions for e.g. new Lifecycle Services, new Service Levels within existing Tech Care portfolio, etc.
- Consulting business partners located mainly in Europe and US on existing packaging strategies and packaging design options and the related capabilities and limitations in context of new service introduction and other portfolio change projects (requires flexibility in working hours)
- Shadowing and supporting Senior Packaging Strategy and Design managers and Portfolio Enablement Management located mainly in Europe and US with complex Projects (IT Projects, MADOs, etc.) and complex New Service and Portfolio Introductions:
- Complete and submit various request templates and forms,
- Create/update and publish packaging design documentation across the different repositories
- Create and manage Service Tracker requests
- Help with project management tasks (track tasks and deliverables, facilitate workstream meetings etc.)
What you’ll do:
Responsibilities:
- Designs and Implements product support or service packaging solutions over the service lifecycle and across all routes to market, conforming to existing packaging and pricing strategies, end-to-end service delivery and sales readiness and associated requirements
- Represents services on product or solution NSI or NPI teams and provides packaging requirements into product and service development stages/phases.
- Performs business analysis, identifies root cause, and develops recommendations/ solutions to drive business process and service product structure and packaging improvements in collaboration with other enablement and packaging SMEs as needed.
- Works across regions/geographies and WW teams to develop and/or implement new/enhanced packaging designs for services, solutions, or programs to meet emerging customer/partner/market needs and enable profitable growth.
- Utilizes in-depth understanding of CPQ and Q2C systems and processes and their capabilities and limitations to meet complex requirements to develop the packaging design based on the strategy, validate/test the design, and demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the design.
- Utilizes technical and business skills to lead complex cross- functional activities that drive continuous growth of the services business.
- Provides mentoring and guidance to peers and lower level employees.
- Ad-hoc responsibilities and tasks as required by the business.
What you need to bring:
Education and Experience Required:
- Typically 8+ years to establish proven track record in service relevant business or Operations areas in HPE
- Ideally, basic experience with HPE NSI or NPI processes
- Basic experience in one of the related disciplines of support service delivery, solution architecting, service product and pricing master data management, services finance, or services business planning and reporting.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Medium knowledge of IT and services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one service relevant CPQ or Q2C system and the related business processes, e.g. NGIT/SAP (preferred), OCA, IQ/FQ, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of the company's organization and policies, and at least one area of HPE services portfolios including GreenLake offering, end to end processes, tools, and service relevant routes to market.
- Problem detection and analysis of root cause.
- Proven ability to informally lead teams to achieve results, exercise independent judgment and handle unique situations to accomplish goals in tight time frames.
- Demonstrated skills in planning and financial analysis.
