Description -
We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded B2B Marketing Investment Lead to evaluate, optimize, and drive marketing investment strategies for HP Solutions Marketing. This role is pivotal in ensuring our marketing spend delivers maximum ROI, balancing financial rigor with strategic insight. You will partner closely with Marketing, Finance and GBU leadership teams to build business cases, model investment scenarios, and drive consensus on budget allocation decisions.
Responsibilities:
Investment Strategy & Analysis
Lead WW and Market Marketing budget allocations for HP Solutions across channels, segments, and regions to maximize ROI and business impact.
Build B2B robust financial models and scenario analyses to inform investment decisions.
Track and measure marketing investment performance, providing insights and recommendations for reallocation.
Partner with Business Planners to develop standardised strategies that can flex to specific business cases and needs
Financial Acumen & Modeling
Develop ROI, payback period, and CLV-based models for marketing investments.
Translate marketing metrics into financial outcomes to support data-driven decision making.
Partner with Marketing and GBU finance teams to align marketing spend with revenue targets and profitability goals.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Present investment strategies, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership with clarity and influence.
Build strong narratives that balance financial detail with strategic impact to secure buy-in.
Data, Tools & Process
Own and enhance financial tracking models, dashboards, and reporting tools in Excel (expert level).
Drive continuous improvement in marketing investment planning processes.
Lead annual and quarterly planning cycles with evidence-based recommendations
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA a plus.
7-10 years’ experience in marketing finance, investment analysis, FP&A, consulting, or a related role.
Strong financial acumen with proven ability to translate marketing activity into P&L impact.
Expert-level Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, financial modeling).
Strong data storytelling, presentation, and influencing skills.
Experience with B2B marketing performance metrics and ROI measurement.
Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to balance precision with big-picture thinking.

The pay range for this role is $116,150 to $182,400 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
