HOUSING MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Salary Range: $63800 - $82938 Per Year

Job Summary: This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major Duties:

  • You will monitor the housing privatization operating agreements, including mediation of resident disputes and agreement modification.
  • You will monitors the operation and maintenance of the privatized housing and validates property managers performance and surveys housing facilities in accordance with the criteria specified with the business agreements.
  • You will review financial and maintenance plans/reports.
  • You will perform diagnostic inspections and/or investigations and submit request to address potential maintenance and/or health and safety issues.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting, explaining and applying technical requirements of public-private venture housing and facilities agreements; 2) Using housing software to maintain occupancy records, property account information, inspection records and condition reports; 3) Preparing reports and point papers that include information relative to data collection, analysis and recommendation for action; and 4) Performing housing investigatory or diagnostic inspections triggered by resident concerns, complaints to identify potential maintenance and/or health and safety issues.
