HOUSING MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Salary Range: $77192 - $100344 Per Year

Job Summary: This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major Duties:

  • You will provide assistance in and meet with various team members to develop plans, proposals, timelines, and policies regarding privatization initiatives.
  • You will identify, qualify and counsel tenants on the benefits of living in privatized housing.
  • You will act as government Point of Contact (POC) for oversight of maintenance in privatized housing.
  • You will review work in progress and participate in final inspections, resolve complaints and grievances, and promote quality management.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Performing housing management duties in accordance with housing policies, principles, laws and regulations; 2) Providing customer service and counseling to tenants concerning housing policies and programs; 3) Assisting in the administration of privatized housing initiatives; 4) Assisting with the negotiation of public and private sector housing contracts; 5) Scheduling and coordinating work forces and resources pertaining to housing management activities and maintenance.
