POSITION: Housekeeping Supervisor

Summary
Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Housekeeping Supervisor for Legends Global/Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise full time, temp, and part time Housekeeping staff and operators
- Distribute daily worksheets through AdventNet and ensures all duties are completed as assigned
- Check emails throughout the day
- Report broken or malfunctioning equipment, furniture, etc.
- Maintain appropriate inventory for staff to complete duties assigned
- Train staff to ensure all are aware of how/when to complete duties assigned
- Train staff on proper cleaning and safety protocols ensuring all housekeeping activities are in compliance with ASM policies
- Walk/tour the Facilities to ensure cleanliness, inside and outside
- Provide feedback to management on duties not completed
- Provide recommendations to management if disciplinary actions are necessary
- Assist Lead on Duty (LOD) during events
- Ensure equipment is set and ready for events
- Inspect and monitor assigned level(s) daily
- Walk daily to ensure assigned full time staff, part time staff, and operators are productive
- Assist with the supervision of all full time staff, part time staff, and operators even when assigned to other areas
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping clock-in, storage, and break areas
- Assist with updating event cleaning and disinfecting logs
- Assist with pre-event walk-throughs to ensure readiness for events
- Provide daily reports to the Housekeeping Management team
- Assist with the preparation of Event Folders for events
- Assist with staffing part time staff for events, event set-ups, and post-event detail through the ABI staffing program
- Assist with staffing Temp staff for events, event set-ups, and post-event detail
- Assist with creating deployment sheets for events
- All other duties as assigned

- Must successfully pass a criminal background check
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be passionate about a hygienic environment
- Must be proactive
- Goal orientated, team player with excellent follow-through skills
- Must have a sense of urgency and be self-motivated
- Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and support a team environment
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to adapt to change
- Mathematical skills are needed to appropriately mix cleaning agents according to the directions of the manufacturer
- Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years in a Supervisory position
- 3-5 years experience in a related field

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events; talk and hear. This position requires work inside or outside of the building and is exposed to adverse weather conditions.
- Physical capability to lift and push heavy equipment and supplies; stoop, bend, climb stairs, work at heights up to 21 stories, and operate cleaning equipment.
- Position is often exposed to adverse conditions such as fumes, dust, noise, wet floors, etc.
- Able to use a handheld radio
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to move loads of supplies using a pallet jack
