About the location:

Soon to be one of the region’s foremost luxury beachside destinations, The Red Sea will comprise of the idyllic natural islands and lagoons across 200 kms of coastline along the western coast of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, between the cities of Umluj and Al Wajh. The new Four Seasons Resort will be located on Shura Island, the hub of the development and home to a yacht marina, leisure and lifestyle facilities, retail offerings, 18-hole golf course and more. The Red Sea destination is being built with sustainable practices and tourism at its core, with the masterplan being informed by an impressive marine spatial planning simulation to model the environmental impact of development and operations to minimize over-tourism while providing guests with an exceptional travel and lifestyle experience. The destination will also rely on renewable energy and will only develop a small portion of the islands with expansive dedicated conservation zones. The new Four Seasons Resort will offer approximately 149 rooms and suites, all with uninterrupted views over white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters. The property will also feature six restaurant and lounge outlets, meeting and events spaces, a marine discovery centre, Kids for All Seasons space and much more. Whether looking for rest and relaxation or sport and water activities, there will be something for everyone, including a full-service spa with a hammam, tennis courts, three outdoor pools with cabanas, and two separate beaches for families and adults perfect for soaking in the sun or diving down to explore the coral reefs.

The Role of the Housekeeping Manager

As the Housekeeping Manager at Four Seasons Resort Red Sea, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire housekeeping operation across the resort and private villas, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and luxury service are consistently delivered.

In this leadership role, you will manage and inspire the housekeeping team to maintain the exceptional standards synonymous with Four Seasons. Your focus will be on ensuring that guest rooms, villas, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest levels of cleanliness and comfort, creating a flawless and welcoming environment for our guests.

You will develop and manage daily operational plans, ensuring the efficient scheduling of team members and proper allocation of resources across the resort and villa areas. This includes assigning responsibilities based on operational needs, team strengths, and guest preferences, while ensuring seamless coordination between housekeeping, front office, engineering, and other departments.

A key responsibility of the role is conducting regular inspections of guest rooms, villas, public spaces, and facilities to ensure all areas meet Four Seasons standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will play a vital role in maintaining the resort’s reputation for outstanding quality and service.

You will also oversee training, coaching, and performance development for the housekeeping team, ensuring all team members understand and deliver the Four Seasons service culture. By fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, you will empower your team to perform at their best and exceed guest expectations.

Effective communication and strong leadership will be essential in managing daily operations, resolving challenges, and ensuring service excellence across the resort and villas.

Area of Responsibility

Housekeeping operations across the Resort and Villas, including guest rooms, suites, villas, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

Knowledge and Skills

• College degree in Hospitality Management or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a managerial or supervisory housekeeping role within a luxury hotel or resort environment
• Previous experience managing villa or resort housekeeping operations is highly preferred
• Proven leadership, team management, and organizational skills
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, quality standards, and luxury service delivery
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced resort environment
• Proficiency in operating hotel systems and computer applications
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
