THE JOB:
Join the Team Behind the Magic at Mandalay Bay! As a Hotel Sales Coordinator, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes superstar helping our Sales team stay organized, connected, and ready to deliver unforgettable experiences. From coordinating schedules and meetings to preparing communications and supporting day-to-day operations, you’ll keep everything running smoothly in our fast-paced, high-energy resort environment.
You’ll also play an important role in handling sensitive information, supporting guest needs, and creating a seamless experience for both our team and our clients. If you’re detail-oriented, love staying organized, and enjoy being at the center of it all, this is your chance to shine!
THE STARTING PAY RATE: $19.50 / Per Hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Prepare and edit correspondences, communications, presentations, contract formatting, redlines, and updating systems to reflect contract terms and negotiated room rates
- Process reservations, invoices, billing information for accounting, confirmations, cancellations, special handling alerts, and amenities. Amenities could include but are not limited to site inspections, customer event weekends, and VIP stays
- Arrange and coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and meal appointments within the property or outside travel
- Monitor, screen, respond to, and distribute incoming communications via e-mail and phone in a timely manner
- Provide guest service to internal employees, guests, and all customers of MGMRI
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Six (6) months of prior relevant experience in an administrative role
- Previous experience with Group or Room Reservations, Front Desk and/or Guest Services in a similar resort setting preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
