About the Role

The Hosting Manager - Cloud is responsible for developing and closing business with new and existing VCSP’s & Resellers in the assigned territory.

What You’ll Do

  • Develops sales activities with existing & potential VCSP’s; upsells and cross sells to the existing Cloud Service Providers - VCSP’s
  • Develops sales pipeline by proactive calling to convert sales conversations to identified VCSP’s
  • Works with regional sales team to advance opportunities to closure, including Cloud Systems Engineers to technically qualify and deliver product demonstrations 
  • Closes business in conjunction with VCSP’s (in tier-two model) 
  • Meets individual revenue target (if applicable)
  • Leverages business generated by VCSP’s with end users/customers 
  • Drives account strategies and coordinates team selling efforts with Inside Sales Reps, Channel
  • Partner Managers, Marketing, Sales Engineering and others to close business  
  • Effectively executes business plans to maximize revenue 
  • Enters forecasting and account/opportunity details in Veeam’s CRM (SalesForce)  
  • Proposes, coordinates and participates to marketing activities within the territory  
  • Ability to travel 0 - 30% of the time within the assigned territory/region requirements
  • Target a defined set of Resell & Cloud providers in the Dutch market & develop joined sales opportunities with the Dutch sales team. 
  • Support existing Resell & Cloud providers in developing new offerings/services. 
  • Lead Hosting and Cloud activities in The Netherlands, supporting the broad Veeam Cloud Service Provider. 
  • Support existing Rental Distributors/Sub-Aggregators to drive the region's Veeam Cloud & Hosting capabilities.  

 What You’ll Bring

  • Experience: 5-10 years of field sales experience with Cloud/Hosting/Service Providers, including managing MSP partners, with a proven track record of closing substantial contract negotiations.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with VMware, Microsoft, and virtualization/cloud technologies is advantageous.
  • Industry Relationships: Established connections within top-tier Cloud or Hosting provider accounts with the ability to forge new partnerships.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptability: Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving responsibilities.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work independently, self-motivated with minimal supervision, and a proactive approach to seeking support when needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Strong team-oriented mindset with effective collaboration skills
