$18.85 - $28.30

Position Requirements:H.S. education or equivalent is preferred.Two years food service experience in a hospital nursing home or restaurant.Ability to communicate and be understood.Ability to interpret customers requests and accurately fill those requests.Ability to work well with others.Ability to become certified in Food Service Sanitation within first 3 months.Ability to walk stoop bend stand for long periods of time.Ability to follow directions.Ability to handle a variety of duties.Ability to work as part of a team.Ability to interact effectively with staff.Ability to communicate effectively.Ability to complete numerous simultaneous projects within given time constraints.Ability to achieve and maintain high standards of sanitation and safety.Ability to lift 10 ~ 60 lbs.Ability to have exposure to water and other cleaning materials.Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.This requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 08/01/2014. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For lifts over 35 pounds lifting equipment is expected to be used or lift with at least one other associate when available. Unique lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case by case basis.Purpose:To perform and monitor a variety of duties within the dining room/catering and patient services area of the department and function as the team leader for FSA`s to ensure efficient operations in each assigned area. The FSA II will act as a role model for associates ensuring high department standards are met. This will be accomplished through teamwork and fostering diversity by treating all associates with respect integrity and dignity.Accountabilities:Leadership of FSA`s assigned to the dining room/catering area specifically overseeing:the serving of food using proper portions at the steamtable and the grill area replenishing the breakdown of the salad bar sandwich bar dessert area overseeing the cashier`s proper handling of cash and stock/close of the 95th Stree
