POSITION SUMMARY:
The Host, Spa delivers an exceptional, personalized guest experience in line with Forbes Travel Guide standards. The role combines front desk excellence with professional nail services, ensuring every guest receives intuitive, anticipatory service, and a seamless luxury journey.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Guest Experience & Hotel Brand Standards
- Acts as a Spa Ambassador delivering personalized service
- Greets guests warmly and professionally
- Anticipates guest needs and ensures satisfaction
- Maintains Hotel Brand standards in grooming and etiquette
Reception & Operations
- Manages bookings and guest profiles
- Answers calls and handles inquiries
- Promotes services and retail products
- Performs cashier duties and billing
- Assists VIP Hosts with patrons’ requests and updates VIP Services on all information that will assist their function
- Updates and inputs guests’ information and profile in the Spa computer system
- Monitors and replenishes supplies for reception and office often performing stock takings
- Assists with constant monitoring of the cleanliness and aesthetics of the centre and acting where required, maintain the reception area according with five-star standards, ensuring retail products are displayed appropriately and all racks and shelves are neat and orderly
- Updates bulletin boards and magazines stand throughout Spa Facilities to ensure they are current, accurate and available always
- Always maintains confidentiality and discretion regarding guest information and activities
- Maintains daily spread sheets of purchases, daily revenue and provides monthly summary to Managers and Supervisors as appropriate
- Reports all maintenance faults in the general to Maintenance and Engineering
- Reports accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and / or security issues to the superiors
- Performs other reasonable job duties as assigned by superiors from time to time
Nail Artist Responsibilities
- Performs manicure and pedicure services
- Maintains hygiene and sanitation standards
- Recommends treatments and products
- Keeps workstation clean and organized
Spa Environment & Standards
- Maintains cleanliness and luxury standards
- Monitors stock and reports issues
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
- 1 year working experience in a Spa Reception or beauty industry is preferred
Education
- High school diploma
- Hospitality professional training is an advantage
Skills / Competencies
- Nail certification preferred
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledgeable in POS and Spa operation systems
- Good knowledge of Spa products and services
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent command of English and Greek with business writing skills
- Ability to work on flexible shift including overnight weekends and holiday on rotation basis
- Relevant Spa / Beauty / Hair Qualification is preferred
- First Aid and CPR Certification is an advantage
- Understands five-star and VIP customer service
