Host Partnership Manager

Good Sam Enterprises is seeking a Manager, Strategic Host Partnerships to accelerate host acquisition for the Overnight Stays program by building and activating relationships with trade organizations, councils, travel boards, and industry groups. This role is responsible for creating leveraged, scalable acquisition channels that deliver high-quality leads and improve downstream conversion across the acquisition funnel.

The Partnerships Manager will identify and secure strategic partnerships, develop activation plans, and collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to convert partner reach into measurable host growth. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills, operational rigor, and the ability to translate partnerships into tangible business results.

This position reports to the Overnight Stays Operations Lead.

Responsibilities

Partnership Strategy & Development

  • Identify, prioritize, and pursue trade organizations, councils, and associations aligned to target host profiles.

  • Establish partnership agreements that enable host acquisition through co-marketing and member outreach.

  • Build a prioritized partnership pipeline focused on high-density member networks and regional opportunities.

  • Own partner onboarding and activation plans, ensuring partnerships are launched with clear goals and timelines.

  • Execute partner campaigns, including email, webinars, events, and co-branded content.

  • Serve as the primary internal point of contact for active partners.

  • Optimize handoff processes to ensure partner momentum translates into host growth.

Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Track partnership performance, lead volume, conversion rates, and host outcomes.

  • Report regularly on partnership impact, ROI, and pipeline contribution.

  • Identify opportunities to improve partner performance, scale high-performing relationships, or exit low-impact partnerships.

Program Operations

  • Partner closely with Product, Operations, and Marketing to align acquisition priorities and messaging.

  • Share partner insights to inform regional strategy, host value propositions, and program improvements.

Qualifications

This is a hybrid role in our Chicago, IL office. Must be able to be in office 3 days per week.

  • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or related roles.

  • Proven ability to build and manage external relationships with measurable outcomes.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and product teams.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Data-driven mindset with experience evaluating performance and ROI.

  • Able to travel 10-20% of the time for partner visits and industry events

Pay Range:

$66,500.00-$97,000.00 Annual
