The Hospital Supply Coordinator will provide support to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital and Hospital Supply Operations. The employee in this position is responsible for attending to the routine supply needs of internal clients (i.e. Veterinary Teaching Hospital departments, and occasionally research departments throughout the School of Veterinary Medicine).
Job Responsibilities:
60% Facilitates the delivery of stock supplies as ordered to VTH clinical departments and various Omnicell machines throughout the hospital. May be responsible for fulfilling Omnicell restock orders, as determined by the needs of the department, at the discretion of Senior Hospital Supply Coordinator. Ensures organization and efficiency is maintained by utilizing BarCloud inventory software.
20% Conducts routine Omnicell audits to ensure Omnicell integrity, accuracy, and safety are maintained and product is within usable dates, following proper discard protocols for expired or damaged supplies. Ensures organization and efficiency by utilizing BarCloud Inventory Software. Ensures stock fulfillment is completed at OmniCell Stations throughout the hospital, by refilling syringes, needles, drug labels, alcohol containers, sharps containers, and drug destroyer bottles. Refills hand sanitizer throughout the hospital when necessary.
10% Maintains Small Animal Body Disposition Room stock by restocking paw print impression kits, body bags, burial boxes, and other postmortem supplies as directed. Collects delivery bins throughout the hospital as needed.
5% Assists with inventory by partaking in quarterly physical counts. Ensures any heavy equipment used in warehouse operations is properly maintained and user training is complete.
5% Assist Hospital Supply Management to accomplish warehouse organization mission by completing related tasks as needed (other duties as assigned).
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree

Special and Physical Qualifications:
Physical Requirements - Required to be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching above the shoulder, reaching below the shoulder, and pushing/pulling.
Vehicle Operation -University employees whose principal responsibilities of employment include operating a vehicle, performing maintenance on a vehicle, or supervising any public employee who operates or maintains a vehicle and positions with an expectation to travel will require an MVR and are subject to drug screens per PM-33/PS-67/FASOP HR-04.
Safety and Security Sensitive Job - Safety and security-sensitive positions are defined as those positions where any form of substance abuse may affect University activities through unsafe work behavior/performance or error in judgment; or where substance abuse could jeopardize the safety and well-being of employees, other personnel, or the general public, or cause significant damage to University property. This includes positions requiring firearms, access to controlled substances, handling hazardous material, operating heavy equipment or machinery, etc. These positions are subject to drug screens per PS-67/FASOP HR-04.
Emergency Essential Personnel -This position may be required to report to campus in times of emergency and/or closure per PS-18.
