As part of an exciting project expansion, IQVIA is seeking three new Hospital Sales Specialists/Key Account Manager to support the accelerated growth of our partners´ biosimilars portfolio across key regions in Spain. These newly created roles will cover the territories of Madrid, Valencia, and Barcelona, reinforcing our commitment to expanding market presence and strengthening partnerships with hospital stakeholders.

About the role: As a Hospital Sales Specialist, you will play an important role in expanding our partners’ biosimilar portfolio. You’ll build and strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders—including high-cost drug pharmacists, clinicians, and hospital managers—to maximize market penetration and product uptake. Your expertise in strategic account management, contract negotiations, and sales growth will play a critical role in advancing business objectives.

You will work closely with colleagues to provide decision-makers with the essential insights they need to support the widespread adoption and prescribing of our partners' products. Additionally, you will collect and analyze key market intelligence—including competitor activity, treatment patterns, and prescribing criteria—to shape strategic business decisions. A core focus of this role is establishing our biopharmaceutical client as a trusted leader in the biosimilars and biologics sector, driving sales growth and expanding market presence through strong relationship management and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving Commercial Activities: Manage commercial activities within your specialist area across the Central region.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Build trust and collaboration with hospital stakeholders to promote biosimilar adoption.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure decision-makers have all necessary information for maximal adoption and prescribing.
  • Market Positioning: Establish our biopharmaceutical client as a trusted partner in the biosimilars/biologics market.
  • Data Collection: Gather and report relevant information such as competitor data, treatment patterns, and product prescribing criteria.
  • Sales Growth: Drive the achievement of sales and market share growth.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Educational background in Life Sciences, or a Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Economics, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or Hospital Sales Specialist.
  • Expertise in rheumatology, hematology, nephrology, oncology and biosimilars is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in Spanish.
  • Willingness to travel within the region.
  • Full driving license essential.
