We are searching for a Hospital Relations and Medical Education Manager to join our Administrative team.
The Manager, Hospital Relations and Medical Education, will build and manage meaningful partnerships under OrthoCarolina’s hospital co-management and physician call agreements. In addition, this role will support the organization’s physician medical education administration.
Essential Functions:
Manage OrthoCarolina’s service line management/hospital co-management programs
Direct multiple monthly co-management Steering Committee and subcommittee meetings, these can be virtual or on-site at the hospital facility. Major components of co-management meetings include the following: develop meeting agenda and presentation, update and distribute Facility Co-Management Metric Dashboard , coordinate committee action plans , drive discussion on future metrics .
Supervise other team members who will manage individual service line management/hospital co-management programs.
Support OrthoCarolina’s co-management and hospital facility call invoices, payments, and distributions to OC and non-OC physicians
Administrative support of OrthoCarolina’s physician graduate medical education programs, including supporting the OrthoCarolina Corporate Fellowship Orientation program
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
5 years management level experience in healthcare or related field required.
Operational experience within complex healthcare environments, including strategic planning and financial oversight.

Proven track record of providing thoughtful, strategic, collaborative and effective executive leadership with measurable results
Clear, concise communicator with experience tailoring messages to diverse audiences.
Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to present complex information to executive leadership and stakeholders
Highly skilled and effective at implementation and follow-through
Develops, tracks, and oversees facility co-management metrics
Visionary and strategic thinking skills- great at connecting the dots and seeing patterns within systems and partnerships
Knowledge and familiarity of the region and networks
