Position Purpose

Accurately completes the pre-registration process to reduce patient wait time, improve patient satisfaction and promote an efficient arrival/check in process and helps to ensure that the patient flows through the scheduling and registration process efficiently.

What you will do

  • Schedule and confirm patient diagnostic testing appointments and provide testing requirements and instructions to patients

  • Interview patients to obtain and/or complete testing documents, medical case histories, and forms such as intake and insurance forms

  • Responsible for collection of complete demographic, financial information and clinical orders (when applicable)

  • Collect, process and reconcile patient liabilities., field incoming calls., keep accurate records of appointments

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • 2 years clerical experience in a medical field preferred

  • Minimum of 6 months customer service experience required

  • Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications and other standard office equipment required

  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
