Position Purpose
Accurately completes the pre-registration process to reduce patient wait time, improve patient satisfaction and promote an efficient arrival/check in process and helps to ensure that the patient flows through the scheduling and registration process efficiently.
What you will do
Schedule and confirm patient diagnostic testing appointments and provide testing requirements and instructions to patients
Interview patients to obtain and/or complete testing documents, medical case histories, and forms such as intake and insurance forms
Responsible for collection of complete demographic, financial information and clinical orders (when applicable)
Collect, process and reconcile patient liabilities., field incoming calls., keep accurate records of appointments
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
2 years clerical experience in a medical field preferred
Minimum of 6 months customer service experience required
Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications and other standard office equipment required
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
