We have an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Hospital Director to join the team at our New Hall Hospital.

New Hall Hospital, part of Ramsay Health Care UK, is one of Wiltshire’s leading private hospitals, renowned for delivering high-quality healthcare services in a serene and historic setting. Located just two miles south of Salisbury, the hospital is housed in a Georgian manor surrounded by 14 acres of landscaped parkland, offering a peaceful environment for recovery. The facility boasts 43 patient beds, 5 theatres, including a high-dependency unit, and has recently undergone a £4 million refurbishment featuring a state-of-the-art spinal theatre complex and a dedicated day case unit.
Specialising in a wide range of treatments—from diagnostic procedures to orthopaedics and spinal surgery —New Hall Hospital is equipped with ultra-clean air theatre suites and advanced medical technology. Its consultants and nursing staff are highly experienced, prioritising patient care and comfort at every stage. And you:
You will be a highly motivated, inspirational leader with high levels of self-awareness, vision, commercial acumen and rapport. In addition to being the CQC Registered Manager for the site, you will hold full P&L responsibility and provide leadership and strategic direction. This includes leading and delivering local business development activities and establishing/maintaining strong links with the medical and local community.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to evidence your:
Understanding of current health industry issues and relevant tertiary / post-graduate qualifications
Proven leadership, business development, strategic planning experience and risk management skills
Experience of inspiring and managing a group of employees in a commercial context with strong business acumen
Experience of leading change in a commercial or health care environment
Decision-making capabilities, people management skills, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including demonstrated experience in liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders

Situated in 14 acres of quiet, landscaped parkland two miles south of Salisbury, the Georgian Manor House was opened as a hospital in 1980 and currently has 32 patient beds.
By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. The fully equipped ultra clean air theatre suite is particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures offered such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacements. The day unit is suitable for minor operations and endoscopy.
