Full-Time On-Call Hospice Visit Nurse - Homecare patients in Columbia and Greene Counties-EVENINGS

Work Schedule: 4:00pm -12:00am 5 days per week including an every other weekend rotation.

The Community Hospice has a wonderful opportunity for a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to work as part of our Hospice Care Team caring for patients and families in the homecare setting after hours on call.

What you will do:

  • As an RN you will visit patients who are in need of symptom management after hours in their homes.

What you will need:

  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York
  • Associates Degree in Nursing, BSN preferred
  • 1 year recent experience as an RN. Homecare RN experience is strongly preferred
  • Previous hospice experience preferred but NOT required.
  • Ability to actively listen and respond appropriately to patients/families as well as to support patient/families through times of crisis.
  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record and reliable vehicle

Pay Range: $35.00-$47.75 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
