Position Purpose/Summary:
Quote, Coordinate, Perform, and Document all Hose Testing opportunities with the Fluid Process Business Unit of SunSource.
Essential Responsibilities/Duties
To be successful in this role, the following is expected:
- Work with Product Manager/Field Sales Representatives/Fabrication Group on Quoting Hose Testing Jobs
- Keep Up-To-Date Calendar on Hose Testing Schedule.
- Coordinate with Temporary Agencies on providing the proper amount of temporary labor for each specific job
- Work with RHFS Transportation Team to ensure delivery of Testing equipment to job site prior to testing start date
- Oversee all testing activities while on-site at customer facility
- On-Site Representative for RHFS Hose Testing Program
- Maintain proper inventory/supplies for Hose Testing Skids (Two Skids – Each Skid to be identical – Spare inventory to be in Burbank or NJ Fab Locations)
- Document all Pass/Fail/Recommend-to-Replace Hose Assemblies for each Testing Job (Excel) – Provide Document to Customer and all Associated Field Sales Representatives
- Provide Customer Quotation for Failed and Replacement Hoses within one week of Test
- Track Hose Testing Quotes, Orders, Hose Assemblies Business generated from Program
- Attend Supplier Training Courses
- Attend NAHAD meetings and training classes
- Quarterly Reporting on Successes/Problems/Business Lost/New Opportunities w/ Product Manager and Director of Business Development
- Work with RHFS Management Team on Hose Assembly Quotations and Orders
- Enter Bill of Materials into Operating System
- Work in conjunction with FAB Department on Open Work Orders and Shipping Dates
- Maintain Appropriate Stocking Levels of Critical Spare Inventory in Hose Assembly Locations
- Work with National Accounts Team on Hose Assembly and Fluid Conveyance RFQ’s and Orders
- Develop Sales Reports for Vendors/Sales Regions/Field Sales Representatives
- Maintain Current and On-Time Expense Reports
- Consistent Communication with Fluid Conveyance Team and National Accounts Group

Become NAHAD certified in Hose Assembly/Industrial Hose Technician (NAHAD – Hose and Fitting Organization for Safety Practices and Training) within 6 months of employment.
