The DCX Client Services – Home-Based Systems Administrator will work as a full-time employee for a growing business based in the United States. You will have the opportunity to expand your technical expertise while supporting and maintaining a secure, reliable, and high-performing IT environment.
This role goes beyond standard helpdesk support, combining Tier 2/3 troubleshooting, Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint security, and infrastructure management. You will work under the direction of the Director of IT Operations and play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of IT systems.
The daily tasks will vary, so flexibility, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential. This role requires a proactive mindset, strong technical judgment, and the ability to support both users and systems effectively.

Provide Tier 2/3 support by troubleshooting and resolving escalated IT issues
Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
Manage user lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, licensing, and access control
Configure and support identity and access management using Active Directory and Entra ID
Implement and manage MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, and RBAC policies
Administer and monitor Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, compliance, and application deployment
Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting
Support and maintain endpoint security tools (EDR, email security platforms)
Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities
Perform Windows Server administration, including patching, monitoring, and maintenance
Troubleshoot network-related issues (LAN/WAN/VPN/DNS) and escalate when needed
Maintain accurate documentation for systems, processes, and troubleshooting procedures
Use JIRA or ticketing systems for tracking, documentation, and reporting
Provide user training and technical guidance when needed
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and system optimization
Experience:
3–5 years of experience in systems administration, IT infrastructure, or advanced IT support roles
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration
Technical Requirements:
Experience with Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
Strong knowledge of Active Directory (users, groups, OUs, GPOs)
Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management
Experience with Azure / Entra ID for identity and access management
Proficiency in PowerShell for automation and troubleshooting
Experience with Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)
Familiarity with endpoint security tools (SentinelOne or similar)
Experience with RMM tools (NinjaOne or similar)
Basic DNS and networking troubleshooting skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
Preferred:
Certifications such as Microsoft (AZ-104, MD-102, SC-300), CompTIA Security+, or equivalent
Experience with Cloudflare, Linux servers, or VOIP systems
Familiarity with ITIL practices and change management
