Home-Based Production Artist

The DCX Client Services - Home-Based Production Artist will provide support to our partner through day-to-day graphic support. You will be responsible for designing mockups, vectorizing logos, and producing presentation decks from their initial concept through to their final delivery. The production artist must be very collaborative and have excellent problem-solving abilities, all while maintaining consistency and the original brand look throughout the process. 

REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES 

• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills and creativity across different media 

• Able to give and receive constructive criticism   

• In-depth experience and an established track record in artwork design and finalization, with great attention to detail     

• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines  

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment with a dynamic range of people 

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

Art Preflight

• Review artfiles.

  • Confirm art format(vector/raster), color confirmation, quality, sizing, legibility based on decoration method

Create Art Proofs

• Create Art Proofs using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

  • Ensure that all of the necessary instructions and details are followed, displayed, and listed on the art proof

Create Production Art Files

• Set-up print ready art files that are created according to the vendor's production standard.

  • Right file type, format, size, colors, quality, etc.

Manage Dashboard / Art Requests

• Manage art requests on the @ease dashboard, graphics trackers, and email requests.

• Maintain art flow and art priority

  • Turning around standard proof requests in 24 hours or less

  • Express, Critical Rush, Critical, Standard, Repeat requests

Branding Guidelines

• Understanding our client’s brand guidelines and maintaining their branding standards.

Creative Art Projects

• Create custom designs and layouts.

• Work with Sales Reps/Clients to capture their vision to create designs

Virtual Requests

• Support the sales team by creating virtual proofs

• Utilize AI tools to generate graphics to support the ideation

Coordinating Licensing Submissions

• Submit art proofs to Licensing

• Manage the art approval status and update the sales representative

Coordinate Art Recreation

• Convert art into vector format or work with a third-party artist to do the conversion

WHAT WE LOOK FOR 

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or related field.  

• Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience as a Graphic Designer, Production Artist, or other relevant experience. 

• Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills.  

• Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours.  

• Technical Skills: Proficient in both Microsoft and Google applications.  

• Industry-Specific Knowledge:

  • Proficient with Adobe programs, specifically Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, and InDesign. 

  • Technically savvy and have a solid understanding of file formats, image optimization techniques, and color management. 

  • A strong awareness for art designs, layouts, and art details to know what looks pleasing to the eye

  • Ability to be resourceful, creative, and to think outside of the box to develop art designs

  • Open to utilizing AI tools to support the team with graphics and ideation

WHAT WE OFFER 

• Salary Range: Php 35,000 - Php37,500   

• Industry: Promotional Products  

• Job Type: Full-time 

• Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST (USA) 

• Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA)
