The DCX Client Services – Home-Based Cash Application and Tonnage Specialist will work as a full-time employee supporting a growing U.S.-based business. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely application of customer payments while maintaining the integrity of tonnage data used for billing and reporting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies, improve processes, and support overall revenue accuracy.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • Track and maintain customer remittance advice in Excel, ensuring accurate records of payment details, invoice references, and deduction notes

  • Research customer payment information to support accurate and timely cash application

  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, and unapplied cash in a timely manner

  • Communicate with internal teams (Billing, Collections, Customer Service) to resolve payment issues and obtain remittance details

  • Inform the Treasury Department of returned payments, including ACH, wire transfers, and checks, to ensure prompt follow-up and resolution

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company policies and audit requirements

  • Support the Cash Application team with special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed

  • Track and reconcile customer tonnage data, ensuring accuracy across haul records, disposal reports, and billing

  • Research and resolve tonnage discrepancies by coordinating with operations, dispatch, and billing teams

  • Maintain and update tonnage tracking logs and spreadsheets to support accurate invoicing and reporting

 

WHAT WE LOOK FOR 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field 

  • Experience: 0–2 years of experience in accounts receivable, cash application, or a related finance/accounting role

  • Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills.  

  • Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours 

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in most Microsoft Office Applications, databases, and accounting software.  

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general comfort with financial systems

    • Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy

    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

    • Ability to manage a high volume of transactions and meet daily deadlines

    • Experience with ERP or billing systems

 

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Salary Range: PHP 35,000 – 37,500

  • Industry: Environmental Services (Waste and Recycling Services)

  • Job Type: Full-time

  • Work Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PHT (PH)

  • Workdays: Monday through Friday (PH)
