What You'll Be Doing
- Support daily asphalt plant operations by performing general labor tasks and equipment assistance.
- Monitor material flow, perform basic plant checks, and communicate irregularities to the plant operator.
- Assist with routine maintenance, cleanup, and safe work area organization.
- Use hand tools and support equipment to maintain plant efficiency and reliability.
- Work collaboratively with plant and loader operator teams to meet production goals.
What Are We Looking For
- Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and follow established safety procedures.
- Capability to learn plant processes, material flow, and maintenance tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and awareness of changing conditions during plant operation.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability, adaptability, and readiness to take on a variety of tasks in a fast-paced setting.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
