Hire Manager - Gatwick – Fusion Utilities Hire

As a Hire Manager based in Gatwick you’ll be responsible for:  

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hire desk in Gatwick, ensuring exceptional customer service is provided
• Managing a team of Hire Coordinators, drivers and engineers, conducting 1:1s and appraisals. You will also be involved in future recruitment for your team
• Ensuring all contracts are loaded onto the system, raising orders, managing customer queries and writing quotes for customers
• Increasing our hire activity, being proactive and reaching out to existing and prospective customers to win new business

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 8.00am -5.00pm.

• Knowledge of the hire industry and experience in a hire role is essential
• To be able to work under pressure, hit deadlines and have a strong attention to detail
• People and talent management skills. To be able to confidently manage a team to drive the business forward
• To be confident interacting with customers and suppliers face to face and over the phones to build strong effective relationships
